A small but well organized Airport for both Domestic & international Flights, lots of retail & coffee Shops at the entrance Hall, If you are arrivals bargain with taxi kiosk’s cuz they will trick you.

Take a free SIM card from True before the passport control and load it in 7/11. You can get unlimited internet for 30 days with 3G+ (but don't watch movies with it, high speed disappears after 1gb:)

By the exits are big blue posters on the walls warning you of the maximum allowed taxi fares to various parts of the island. Don't let yourself get cheated by the people pushing you in the terminal!

Phuket G-tip: Tuk-tuks do not have meters. Always ask for a price before getting into a taxi or a tuk-tuk and don’t hesitate to bargain! Short distances around town should not cost more than 40 baht.

Phuket airport is a long way from Phuket town and Patong. Shared buses are the main transport and cost 180 baht pp. Tales about an hour (once they leave) to Patong.
