very well kept and gives you a really good idea of how it used to work. Admire, listen and check the orange mark on the walls! def worth a visit even if you aren't a museum fan, trust me!
Number one attraction in Bath. Roman baths were created 2000 years ago. Still have natural springs and few bath...only open for viewing and not public use. One can even drink spring water for free
Museum was super high quality and the audio tour was really good. Ignore the "Bryson" tour: just some random guy his opinion on stuff "the lady in this statue doesn't look friendly" that sort of thing
Amazing place with the ability to show layers of history and make you empathise with the Romans despite the 2,000 years that have past. Love the humanity of the Roman curses described in such detail.
Awesome historic site of Roman baths with the still active spring and well-interpreted center. The sacred spring and grand bath are the highlights, but the quieter site explanations are wonderful.
Such a beautiful and calm city. I can see why people traveled here to feel restored. Don't be afraid to taste the water (it's warm) from the dispenser at the end. It tastes fine :)
